The Presbyterian Assembly adopted a resolution of sympathy with the Rev. Mr Murdoch in connection with the indignity put upon him in being sent to prison over the Ronald v. Harper case; also authorising the committee to consider the legal position, with the view of reporting whether action for amendment should not be taken m concert with other churches.
