OTTAWA, May 30. Philippe Roy, formerly Speaker of •'the Quebec Legislature, and manager -of the defunct BanqueSainte Jeane, hi Quebec, has been sentenced to five 'vears’ imprisonment for furnishing false Government returns. Roy attempted to commit suicide.
