ATHLETICS.
AMATEUR ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 31. At a riieeting of the Council of the Now Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-niglit, the secretary reported that no reply bad been received from Mr. W. G. Atack, Avho had been asked to forward the books and documents of the Association which were in possession of the. old Council in Christchurch. It was resolved that the chairman, secretary, and Mr. Larkin be instructed to take a legal opinion as to the steps to bo taken to recover the moneys and documents of the Association now m the hands of the old Council, and that they take action accordingly, without calling a further meeting.
