AMERICAN TRAMWAY STRIKE.
MANY STRIKERS INJURED. A POLICEMAN SHOT. United Press Association— Copyright PHILADELPHIA, June 3. A tram strike has occurred at Philadelphia. A policeman was shot. Many “blacklegs” were dragged from the care and unmercifully beaten. One hundred strikers were injured. Five cars were wrecked.
