ANNUAL SHOAV. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 4. S The CbristohuAph Poultry, Pigeonland Canary Club’s annual shoAv opened s yesterday/ afternoon in the King Edward Barracks. The entry in the ; poultry section was less than has been I the case for 10 years, the total being ‘550, which is only a fcAV more than half the Club’s record. Pigeons number over 500, and these' figures have only been beaten once or tAvice, and [then by a few oxily. Cage birds total About 200, and is about the best entry seen at a Christchurch show ground. The total reaches oyer 1300, and though this number is not likely to be equalled lin the Dominion, it is 300 less than the Club’s best grand total.
