ANOTHER BRITISH EXPEDITION. TO FOLLOW SHACKLETON’S ROUTE. (Per Press Association.] PERTH, Juno 6. 'News has been received by mail that the Royal Geographical Society has decided to- send an expedition to the South Pole towards the end of this year in charge of Captain Yalintine Web.ster, who has contributed £IO,OOO to . the- cost of the expedition. It will pro- / 'bab'y be known as the “Daily Telegraph” South Polar expedition. It expects to leave New Zealand, following -Lieutenant Shaclcleton’s route.
