BOWLING.
GISBORNE CLUB. The green of tile Gisborne Bowling Club had an animated appearance on Saturday afternoon. There was a good , muster of the members of the club, who were joined by several of their friends from the Turanganui Club. The consequence was that a number of very interesting games were got ofF. The green, it may be said, was in very good condition. The result of the most interesting games were as follows: Spencer, Wqotton, Pavitt, Bright (skip) 31; beat Redstone, Wilson,. Colley. Ponsford, (skip) 14. Jeune, Gcsnell, Witty (skip), 35, beat Adams, Kyme, Ratcliffe (skip). 22. Hird, Ashton, F. Lucas, Ambridgo (skip) 21, beat Sawyer, Boulton, J. F. .Pettie, W. Pettie (skip) 18. I. S. Simson 24 beat T. Clarkson (5) 17.
