SOUTH ISLAND A\ r ATERLOO GUP. [Pun Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, June 9. The first payment for the Southland Coursing Club’s AVaterlo-o Cup is duo on Saturday, and alroadv 41 payments have been received. These include four from Auckland, three from Gisborne, four from AVellington, one from Palmerston North, throe from Timaru, three from Oamaru, two from Dunedin, two from Lawrence, and two from Ivaitangata. The rest are from Southland dog owners. Tho entries are l.mited to 64, and ias the meeting will not take plavce till the 7th of next month, tho committee is beginning to be confident of filling the list to the limit; a thing which has not been done for 20 years. The prize money for the meeting totals £260.
