The following is the Rev. D. C. Dates’ general weather forcast: The present cloudy and humid conditions, •with light westerly winds and a high barometer, will shortly give way. especially in the north, to freshening winds and wet weather, these conditions extending gradually over the whole counfry. Northerly winds, strong to gale, are now probable north of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan, and moderate to strong westerly winds elsewhere, with a change in the weather for more humid conditions.
