BUSINESS NOTES.
To-day Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. will hold an auction sale of poultry and produce at 11 a.m, ami a sale of unredeemed pledges arid furniture at 2 p.m. Mr. C. Buseke, estate agent, advertises the goodwill of a dairy farm for sale. Under instructions from tho Depotv Official Assignee, Messrs Williams and Kettle will sell a three-quarter draught gelding by* auction at noon to-day. Messrs Jennings and Co. will hold an auction sale of furniture and effects at the East Coast Farmers’ Agency , rooms at 1.30 p.m. to-day. d Mrs. Monckton advertises for a nurse r* girl to look after a small child. \ Messrs Douglas Bros. Strand 'hue. notify that fish and- oyster suppers may be obtained nightly at their establishment. Messrs Black and Brocklebank announce that they have'started business in - Gladstone Road, as coal and firewood Merchants. The firm stocks all classes of coal, and their facilities for delivery are very complete, enabling them to promptly supply all orders entrusted in them. Tho principals in the new firm are well known in the district, and |shou!d meet with a fanshare of public patronage.
