Heavy sales of Grand Junction shares were made at the first call, at up to 46s 9d, representing an advance of eighteen shillings within a- week. The estimated sales at the morning call represented £12,000.

Air. AY. Lissant Clayton reports that by a telegram received on Saturday morning, Junctions had risen, as lie predicted, from 42s (kl to sellers 47s and buyers 46s 6d. It is anticipated that there will bo a further rise to-day to the extent of 2s or 2s 6d. Consol idateds were at 3s 2d, with buyers at 3s, at the midday call, Dixon’s Consolidated, AVaitangi Consolidated?, and Watchmans are well worth watching. New Alpines are a Jittlo easier, being 8s 9d sellers, but the reports coming through are extermely good.
