Tho feature of tho day was an advance in Waihi Consolidateds, which sold from 3s 6d to 4s 9d to 4s 6d; Waihis sold at £9 5s and £9 6s; Junctions 44s to 46s 6s; Extendeds 7s to 6s 9d; Talismans, 54s 3d; Crowns 6s Id; Dixons, 6£d and 6d; May Queens, 2s 8<1; Sylvias, 2e 6d; Waiotahi, 3s 2d and 3s 3d; Waitangi, 3s lOd; Watchman, Is lid. The closing prices were : Waihi —Sellers £9 4s 6d, buyers £9 4s. Junctions—46s 6d and 46s 3d. Do options—2ls 6d and 20s 9d. Extendeds —6s lOd and 6s 9d. Consolidated —4s 7d and 4s 6d. Talisman —51s 6d and 54s 3d. Crowns—6s 2d and 6s. Champion —9d and 7d. Waitangi—3s lid and 3s lOd. Watchman—ls lid and Is lOd. Waiptahi—3s 3d and 3s 2d. Sylvia—2s 7d and 2s 6d. May Queens —23 8d and 2s 7d.
Information received from Woffington by Mr. W. Lissant Clayton yesterday shows that largo business was transacted on tho Exchange in Waihi Consolidateds. Tho information stated that these stocks were predicted to see a considerable rise in the near future, and were good buying at present prices.
