The closing prices were : Waihi —Sellers £9 4s 6d, buyers £9 4s. Junctions—46s 6d and 46s 3d. Do options—2ls 6d and 20s 9d. Extendeds —6s lOd and 6s 9d. Consolidated —4s 7d and 4s 6d. Talisman —51s 6d and 54s 3d. Crowns—6s 2d and 6s. Champion —9d and 7d. Waitangi—3s lid and 3s lOd. Watchman—ls lid and Is lOd. Waiptahi—3s 3d and 3s 2d. Sylvia—2s 7d and 2s 6d. Information received from Woffington by Mr. W. Lissant Clayton yesterday shows that largo business was transacted on tho Exchange in Waihi Consolidateds. Tho information stated that these stocks were predicted to see a considerable rise in the near future, and were good buying at present prices.
