TENDERS are invited for the TIMBER LEASE of Lot S ofj TAHORA No. 2, containing 2298 acres, situate 42 miles from Gisborne and about seven miles from the Gisborne-Rotorua line, now in course of construction. The timber consists chiefly of rimu, and comprises also matai, totara, and kahikatea. The section is one of the best in the district for milling purposes. Tenders are to be. in writing, and are to be delivered by Noon on MOND-ax, the 21st June, 1909, at tlic office of the East Coast Commissioner, Gladstone Road, Gisborne, where particulars and conditions of tender may be seen.
