THE HAWAII SUGAR PLANTATIONS. 'PLOT TO WREST CONTROL FROM WHITES. United Press Association— Copyright LONDON, June 14. The “Times” New York correspondent reports that the prosecution of leaders of Japanese strikers in Hawaii plantations and the discovery at their union’s headquarters of inflammatory documents led -to the unconfirmed report of a conspiracy to obtain control of tho sugar industry and wrest the direction of affairs from the whites. The Japanese Consul-General approves of the. prosecution of twelve leaders of strikers in. Hawaii for conspiracy and riot, and of three for conspiracy to murder.
