VISIT TO COOK ISLANDS. (Pun Pnnss Association.] WELLINGTON, June 15. Lord and Lady Plunket left Wellington by train this morning for Palmerston North, where they will spend the night. They will then proceed to Auckland, where Lord Plunketwill embark on the cruiser Challenger for a trip to the Cook Islands. The Challenger will leave Auckland on Thursday for the Islands and is due back at Auckland about July 7th. A Supplementary Gazett-e to-night annouces that- Sir Janies Prendergast wilL he Deputy Governor during Lord Plunket’s absence on a visit to the Cook Islands.
