MELBOURNE, June 16. The Victorian Tennis Association debated the proposals in connection Avith the Davis Cup and agreed that the Committee of Management consist of four Australians and two New Zealanders. with bendnuarters in Australia. and that after the next Davis Cup match at Svdney the folloAving contest be in New‘Zealand. In th.o event of the determination of the agreement anv unexpected funds from tne Davis competitions are to be -divided.. twotbirds to the Australian Association, and one-third to' the New Zealand Association. The newspapers are commenting on the English Lawn Tennis Association’s parsimony in deciding that it is unable to guarantee the American team expenses to visit England to contest the Davis Cur>. hut is willing to send a, team to Philadelphia- if guaranteed £4OO.
