PROTEST BY ROTORUA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

(Per Press Association.) ROTORUA, June 17,

At a meeting' of the Chamber of Commerce last night, it was decided to communicate with the president of the Wairaki Land Board, and urge a modification of the terms and conditions irr connnection with the land to be offered for lease on the 13th inst. It is felt that the price is too high, and the conditions too unreasonable to induce settlement.
