Co.'s Monowai arrives from, south early this morning, and leaves later for Auckland. Tho Tuatea leaves the wharf at G a.m. and 9.30 a.m. The U. 3.5. Co.’s Talune returns | from south this afternoon, and proceeds south in tho evening. The Tuafcea leaves tho wharf on arrival and at 7 p.m. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora is expected to loavo Welllington to-day for Napier and Gisborne, and should arrive here •on Friday, leaving later for Coast ports and Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall left Anck- ; land on Monday night for Tologa and Gisborne, with a general cargo, and ; should arrive here this morning, sailing p to-night for Auckland. , The U.S.S. Co.’s Wanaka was due j to leave Auckland last night for Gishome with 500 tons of Newcastle coal. On discharging she proceeds to Napier. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.’s Mamari is due early in July to load j;: frozen meat. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.’s ! Aotea is still loading frozen meat in the roadstead, and is expected to get i; away to-night for Wellington. From ‘ there she proceeds to Lyttelton, which port she is due to leave on the Ist July for London. Sho will take 20,000 5 freight carcases from this port, and a |: quantity of pelts and tallow. The. 'New"Zealand Shipping Co.’s f Orari arrives here on Thursday from l Napier to load 1000 bales of wool and a quantity of pelts and tallow. I A large shipment of frozen meat was taken from New Zealand ports by the t Tainui. which sailed for London on 17th ; hit. The shipment comprised 31,223 1 carcases of mutton, 55,906 carcases of jamb, 6742 quarters of beef, and other smaller lines. The Scales Line steamer Clan Macintvre loaded 23,415 sacks of grain and f. 134 hales of wool at Lyttelton. Her ~-jc-argo was as follows:—For Glasgow: f' 1385 sacks of oats; for Avonmouth: 11,342 sacks of wheat, 904 sacks of f. pats; for London: 9784 sacks of wheat k and 134 bales of wool. The vessel - was to have loaded another 7000 sacks \ of grain, hut- as it could not be got | alongside on Monday, it was shut out, I and will be taken by the next vessel, f The Clan Macintyre is now filling up at Timam. and is expected to take a total | of about 70,000 sacks of grain from the two ports. ‘/Dalgety’s Review” for June reports that Captain Hanson, commander of the White Star liner Baltic, has received a handsome presentation in recognition of liis services ill connection with the collision between the steamers Republic and Florida in January. The presentation consisted ot a massive ; silver tea and coffeo service, kettle, and stand, with tea-tray.
