The Grand Junction mine crushed 4650 tons for £6503. JTlie mine superintendent reports: —No. 6 lode, south drive, 84 inches, assay £1 los per ton : No. 4 lode, No. 5 level, 327 inches, £3 4s; and 403 inches, £3 9s pe r ton. WAIHI, June 23.. Recent developments in the Maori3and mine have disclosed very rich ore, and present prospects aro particularly good. The mine manager reported to3a.y that gold is showing freely. lho Grand Junction crushed and treated .1645 tons ore for a return of bullion valued at £6503. The. Empire lede at No. 5 level continues to open up well.
