MELBOURNE, June 23,
The Federal Parliament has resumed. Mr Deakin announced that measures would be introduced by the Government to provide for an inter-State Commission, a High Commissionership, compensation to seamen, prohibition of inequitable rebates by trusts and combines, and universal military training in connection with tho development of a citizen soldiery. He announced that one of the best commanders in the British army would be sought. Mr. Fisher gave notice of a direct censure motion for to-morrow.
