A SUCCESSFUL YEAR. A TEN PER CENT'. DIVIDEND. United Press Association —Copyright (Received June 23, 10.25 p.m.) LONDON, June’ 23. The National Bank of Now Zealand has made a profit of £104,785 for tho year. A dividend of 10 per cent, has been declared, with a bonus of 3 per cent. Other allocation of funds are as follows: —Bank premises, £IO,OOO ; bonus to staff, £5000; carried to reserve, £2500; officers’ pensions, £3000; and carried forward, £30,035.

The National Bank has received a cable from tlie London Board, advising the declaration of a dividend of 5 per cent, for the half-year and a bonus to shareholders of 3 per cent., equalling 13 per cent in all, for the year to 31st March last. A sum of £25,000 is to be added -to the reserve fund, which will then stand at £375,000, and £13,000 is to be canned forward. The directors' have further allocated £IO,OOO in the reduction of bank premises, and £3OOO to the officers’ pension fund, and granted a bonus to the staff. The annual meeting will be held in London on 6th July.
