NEW ZEALAND’S SUBSIDY/ [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, June 26, It is the Alley Line of cargo steamers, trading between Vancouver and New Zealand and Australia, and to which New Zealand contributed annually a subsidy of £IO,OOO, which is referred to in to-day’.s cables. This Dominion’s subsidy expired in April, and was not renewed. Canada is not prepared to pay alone the subsidy , which the contractors ask.
