ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Poverty Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held at the Farmers’ Club rooms, Lowe Street, on Saturday after--noon. Mr. f. Holden (president) in the chair The President’s report, as already published, wa& read, and on the motioof the Chairman, seconded by Mr. f "Witters, was adopted. Mr. Holden said that as he was tiring he had much pleasure in new ating Air. F. B. Barker as pres for the ensuing year, and Mr. J was unanimously elected, and tochair. ' * Mr. .Holden, nominated Mr. G. ters for the office of vice-Presi-Mr. Charles Grav seconded the n ination, and .Mr. Witters yeas unani, ously elected. Messrs. Barker —-1 Witters briefly returned thanks for their election. Messrs W.. J. Anderson and A. F. Kennedy were re-elected auditors. Air. D. Maurice*was re-elected treasurer and the meeting closed.
