The Sir Thomas Bent Lands Inquiry Commission has been interrupted by the refusal of Mr Mackay, ex-Minis-ter, to disclose what had taken place In the Cabinet. The Chairman held that the King’s Commission to enquire into the actions of a Minister would override the oath taken on joining the Cabinet. The Governor .will be requested to give permission to Mr Mackay to state Vhat he' knows.
