BIG DECREASES. SURPLUS ON VICTORIAN RAILWAYS. United Press Association —Copyright SYDNEY, July 1. Tho revenue for the year was £13,960,000, a .decrease, of. £335,000 on tho preceding year. Tho wool exports for tho year totalled 973,000 bales, an increase of 116,000 bales over last year. ADELAIDE, July 1. The revenue for the year! was £B,547,000, a decrease of £107,000. The estimated surplus is a quarter of a million. Tho loss caused on the railways owing :to the Broken Hill strike was £150,000. MELBOURNE, July 1. The year’s revenue was £8,169,000, a decrease of £119,000. The. railway revenue established a record of £4,1.70,000, which is £307,000 in excess of last year. The anticipated surplus is £500,000.
