RECONSTRUCTION DECIDED ON. ARRANGEMENTS^WITH SHAREHOLDERS. United Press Association —Copyright. r SYDNEY. June 30. The Australian Joint Stock Bank directors have decided to reconstruct.. Present shareholders will be given £1 shares in the new concern against their uncalled liability of £2 10s per share. Arrangements will also be made for holders of inscribed deposits to taka up shares if they desire. The new share capital of* the bank, which it n is understood it is proposed to call the Australian Bank of Commerce, will bo £3,582,000. One of the directors of the. bank is in England, arranging with British shareholders, who are reported to' be favorable to the scheme. [Tim A.J.S. Bank adopted a' reconstruction scheme during the Australian crisis some years ago.] SYDNEY, July 1.; ' Under the 'Australian Stock Bank scheme depositors receive 2s Cd in the pound cash, Ids Id in intcrminal subscribed stock, and 6s 9d in preferential shares. .
