Mr. Clement Wragge advises that penumbra of the Antarctic disturbance Davenport, which caused the floods in Australia, is now gradually overlapping all New Zealand, and very soon its influence will be more pronounced. The preliminary features will be strong winds to squalls. The disturbance so far looks sinister, and, minor shipping particularly are warned. The west coast probably will have a rough time in the near "future, and Cook Strait and Wellington will be affected. Much rain is likely to fall, and sleet and snow in the sputh, whlie bad weather is a dead certainty N over the Tasman Seaand off the Bluff before long.
