WARSHIP ROBBERY
THE OFFENDERS SENTENCED. PETTY OFFICER RECEIVES FIVE YEARS’ (PENAL SERVITUDE. United Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, July. 1. The following sentences have, been passed in connection with the robbery on the Warship Indomitable : William Tommy, petty five years’ penal .servitude on a charge of stealing; Alston, a leading seaman, and Ethel Stayles, .a married woman, twelve months and three months respectively on charges of receiving. A sum of £2700 was stolon in February the cruiser had left Shcernesis for Margate with the Norc ‘division of the Home fleet.
