REV. R. S. CRAY’S MISSION.

BAPTIST TABERNACLE

The special mission services being conducted by the Rev. R. S. Gray were continued in the Baptist Tabernacle last evening, there being a large attendance. Special Alexander mission hymns were rendered by a large combined choir, and the address by Mr. Gray was listened to with much attention.

The Rev. R. S. Gray took for his text the words of the apostle Paul, who in writing to a young preacher told him to preach the Gospel so that those who oppose themselves may be given repentance and made to recover themselves from the snare of the devil. The speaker said that that was a fundamental statement. Many men were opposed to God, but God had mado them, so that they should-not be opposed to Him., Paul had told the reason why men were opposed to God in the words-that they were snared by the devil. Mr. Gray finished by saying that Jesus was there to save them, but they would have to come unto Him to be saved. The services will be continued in the Baptist Tabernacle this evening, and the remaining evenings of this week.
