The following is the Rev. D. C. Rates’ general weather forecast: Moderate northerly winds will probably prevail north of New Plymouth and Napier. with fair weather, and increasing northerly winds elsewhere with unsettled weather. The disturbance due on Saturday over the South appears to be decreasing in energy, and high pressure •will probably continue for a few days after*its passage.
