AWARDED TO 11 MINERS. .RECENTLY ENTOMBED IN KIMBERLEY DIAMOND MINEUnited Press Association—Copyright LONDON, July 11. The King has granted Edward medals to five Europeans and six native miners who were entombed for 40 hours as the result of an inrush of water in the Kimberley Diamond Mine. The total of .King Edward silver medals to- police and firemen to be annually awarded is k not to exceed 40 in the United Ring- \ ' dqm, 30 in the overseas dominions, and x 50 in India.
