WELLINGTON ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS
LAST YEAR’S WORKING. (Per Pros'? Association.) WELLINGTON, July 12. The engineer’s report of the working of tho Wellington electric tramways for , the year ended March 31-st states that 21,679.902 passengers were carried, being 1,574,179 more than during the ■previous twelve months. The gross revenue was £136,436 (increase £ll,425), traffic -revenue £128,832 (increase £10,226), working expenses £91,672 (increase £8,834). Tlio of revenue over expenses was £44,764 (increase £2,591). The net surplus was--£5.934 (increase £366).
