A great’ feature of the blood stock sales at Newmarket was the disposal of the late. .Sir Daniel Cooper’s blood mares and foals. Thirteen lots aggregated 48,140gn5, including 15,000gns for Flair, a record price for a brood mare, and 9000gns for Lesbia.
