The following is tne Rev. D. O. Bates’ general forecast: A wintry type of anti-cyclonic pressure prevails everywhere, with the highest -pressure in the south.' Present conditions are likely to continue for two or three days, with variable and moderate winds, very cold nights and fair weather by day in most parts of the country.
