Squall, {s.s, ■ The lluddart-Parker Co.’s steamer Victoria arrived in the Bay irom Auckland shortly before 2 p.m. yesterday, after tailing at Tokomaru. Tlio steamer was promptly tendered by the Til a tea. on arrival, and again with outward passengers at 7 p.m. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera arrived .from Napier at about 1 p.m. this morning. The vessel will he tendered at 6 a.m. by the Tnatea, and will leave for Auckland as early as possible. The passengers for Gisborne are: Misses Holden, Williams, and .Satchcll; Mesdames Caldwell, Carroll, Nehepoka, Halbert, and Quill; Messrs Caldwell, Hobbs, Tiffon, Morgan, Strachan. Gordon, Atkinson, Darton, Barry, Muir, Loisol, .Sinclair, Lewis, McLeriion, Pitt, Bcrf, Ducking, Pause, Morice, Porter, and Quill. . Tho Tvser Co.’s Nerehana arrived from Napier yesterday morning to start loading operations. Delav was eaued owing to the barge, which had boon loaded in readines to he towed out on the steamer’s arrival, being si. no a in tho mud opposite tin* Turilnganui hotel. The Tuna made unsuccessful attempts to get them off, there only being about 2ft of water, and in consequence they were not freed until 9.30 a.m., which caused much inconvenience and delay. The Union Company are the local agents. The U.S.S. Co.’s Wairuna has been withdrawn from the produce trade, and the Wanaka will take her run. She is expected to load at the Bluff on July .
