WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1908,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of a gravel-pit in TJawa Survey District: And whereas the Cook County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial. accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I. William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,'in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclam and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedulo hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said gravel-pit. SCHEDULE. In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and colored as above mentioned, and denosited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land , District. . i Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honorable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of tlio said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of June, in tne year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine.
