Lissant Clayton reports that the share market is still active., and in addition to the quotations above, several parcels of Hartley and Riley’s at 23s 4 Mav Queens at 4s lOd have taken place. He strongly recommends as solid stocks, with a future before them. Watchmans, Victorians, and Dixons Consolidated, while Consolidated Goldfields arc a thoroughly sound investment. The flotation of the Ginmorgan G.M. Company is now assured, and there is quite a run jon shares. The new AA T aihi East G.M. Company will shortly bo placed before the pub ic for subscription, and is bound to receive strong support. National Bank shares arc quoted at £5 17s 6d, Gisborne Gas 535, Common Shcltons at 30s, while parcels of Adair Bros, continue to change liatids locally.
