AVatchman —2s Id and 2s. Consolidated Goldfiolds Buyers 18s 9d. Progress—l2s 9d and 12s 3d. Mr. W. Lissant Clayton reports that the share market is still active., and in addition to the quotations above, several parcels of Hartley and Riley’s at 23s 4 Mav Queens at 4s lOd have taken place. He strongly recommends as solid stocks, with a future before them. Watchmans, Victorians, and Dixons Consolidated, while Consolidated Goldfields arc a thoroughly sound investment. The flotation of the Ginmorgan G.M. Company is now assured, and there is quite a run jon shares. The new AA T aihi East G.M. Company will shortly bo placed before the pub ic for subscription, and is bound to receive strong support. National Bank shares arc quoted at £5 17s 6d, Gisborne Gas 535, Common Shcltons at 30s, while parcels of Adair Bros, continue to change liatids locally.
