TURKEY AND CRETE.
THE PRESENT SITUATION. POWERS WITHDRAW TROOPS. United Press Association— Copyright LONDON, July 14. The Powers notify Turkey and Greece that the -present situation, in Greece is not considered a definite solution. reserve to themselves the right at tho proper time to resume negotiations with Turkey regarding the ultimate fate of the island. The Powers withdraw troops from Crete on the 2Gth. They warn Crete that they will watch the Mussulmans’ safety, and re-establish order in the event of a disturbance.
