ALLEGED CRUEL TREATMENT. CHARGE AGAINST GERMAN PLANTERS, Onitbd Press Association— Copyright. (Received July 17, 1.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 16. The Chinese Oommisioners who visited Samoa to inquire into the charges of cruelty to Chines© by German planters, state, that the reports are substantially correct. A petition has been sent to the Chinese Consul-General in Australia requesting him to communicate with the, Viceroy of Canton and ask protection, for the Chinese in Sa-' moa.
