WOOL AND MEAT EXPORTS. Messrs. Common, Shelton, and Co., have, prepared a valuable statistical return ..made up to June 30, in each year, showing the wool and frozen meat exports for tho last 20 years. WOOL.
HORSE SALES. Messrs Williams and .Ltd., yarded about 30 hacks and harness horses of various descriptions at their weekly sale on .Saturday. There was a good demand, and full values were obtained. Hacks brought from £2 10s to £8 10, harness horses from £5 15 to £lO ss„ while a chestnut mare, by San Remo—Empress, was passed in at 15 guineas. PRODUCE MARKETS. Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co., auctioneers, report the following prices realised at their produce sales ,on Saturday :—Fowls Is 4d to 2s 3d, roosters s lid and 2s 6d, turkeys os 6d/eggs Is 6d, butter lid, potatoes 6s to 7s cwt, onions 6s to 7s 6d cwt, pumpkins 2s 6d sack, cabbages Is 3d to Is 6d doz, cauliflowers 4s doz, artichokes Id lb, apples 10s case, small vegetables at usual quotations. A successful sale of fruit trees was also held.
