Co.’s Monowai is due from south to-morrow morning and sails later for / Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Talune returns from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and •continues her voyage south during the evening. The Canterbury Shipping Company’s Ripple arrived from south yesterday morning with a cargo of produce for this port. Coming up the river she touched the bottom in several places, drawing 9ft Bin, but was safely berthed at the wharf. After discharging her cargo the Ripple sailed for Picton and Lvttelton. ‘The Maoriland S.S. Co.’s Holmdale completed her discharge last evening and sailed for south. The ketch Coronation arrived from north last evening with a full cargo of timber for various consignees. She was a, little before full tide in coming up to the wharf and ran aground opposite the goods shed. After about an hour’s delay, however, she floated off, and was berthed at the wharf. An attempt was made to berth the barquentine Pendle Hill last evening on the full tnde. She the channel, but when abreast of No. 2 shed she ran aground and, despite all efforts to get her off, remained fast. She will probably get alongside on the full tide this morning. The Pendle Hill was drawing 10ft when she came up the river. Tlio barquentine St. Kilda arrived in the bay from .Newcastle yesterday afternoon with-ja o ,cargo of .coal for the gasworks... She .had, on the whole, a fair trip across from her loading port. She is drawing 10ft 4in, and a quantity of -her Cargo-Twill be lightered before uhe is brought alongside the wharf. The Westport Coal Col’s Regulus was expected to arrive pate last night or. early this morning with a full cargo of coal from Westport. A quantity of her cargo is for Messrs Nelson Bros., and will be lightered before the vessel attempts to corao up to the wharf. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall goes into dock' -in Auckland to-day, and is expected to leave for Tologa Bay and Gisborne to-morrow or Thursday.
