HALF-YEARLY REPORTS. SATISFACTORY STATEMENTS. United Press Association —Copyright (Received July 20, 1 a.m.) MELBOURNE, July 19. The Bank of Victoria’s balance-sheet shows the profits for the half-year to be £50,605. A dividend of 5 per cent, on preferend© shares and 5 per cent, on ordinary shares is declared, and £15,6/3 carried forward. BRISBANE, July 19. The report of the Queensland National Bank shows a profit for the halfyear of £44,157, of which £19,157 is to ho carried to the contingency fund, £20,000 to tho private depositors’ repayment fund, and £SOOO to reserve.
