nationalists acclaim the boy SHAH. AFFAIRS QUIET IN TEHERAN. United Prksb Association—-CoPTnionx. TEHERAN/July 19. Russia is in communication with th< Powers in regard to the position ol affairs in Persia. The late Shah is being guarded by Russian and British troops. The Russian and British flags are hoisted above, the apartments where refuge has been accorded him. He has given an unmodified promise of complete non-inter-vention in State matters. A small party of Indian soldiers and Russian Cossacks took the Shah to Shmod Palace, at Sultanabad. They returned, leaving him there, signifying that Anglo-Russian protection had ended. A short service took place at the palace at Teheran. The National Council acclaim the boy Shah. It is believed that he will be sent abroad to study under a new tutor.
Affairs' in Teheran are quiet. The bazaars have been, re-opened.
