PROPOSED NEW ZEALAND EXHIBITS.

PALMERSTON N., July 20. At a meeting of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association to-day, Mr. Short moved—“ That the Government be approached with a view to granting a sufficient subsidy to enable owners of different breeds of stock to make proper exhibits at the big international stock show, to ho held at an. early date at ITuenoh Ayres.” He said ithat the show was a fine opportunity to advertise the Dominion. He said he did not like going to the Government for everything, but in this case different parts of the Dominion would benefit more than the breeders. The motion was carried. - •
