That they comprise,' however, the bulk of our experts for may be seen from the fact that the total value of all (exports J : or the June quarter of 1908 was £3,723964. We may assume, therefore, that the excess over the June quarter of 1908 shown above,,' namely, £1,381,91.0, will, be seen in the full quarter. The June quarter of 1908 showed-, an excess over the imports of ’ the same period of over £304,000. The imports fo r the quarter just closed will certainly show a shrinkage probably not less than half a million as compared with the same period last year. And on this basis the exports of the quarter will show an excess over; imports of over two millions.”
