The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrived from South yesterday morning, and continued her voyage later to .Auckland. . The U.S.S. Co.’s.Talune arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon, and sailed South last night. It was thought that the Tuatea would not.be able to go out to the Talune before 7 p.m., but owing to the tender having been berthed further down the wharf abreast of the barquentine Pendle Hill, she was able to get away at 4.30. Under the command of Captain Ross .she made a smart trip out, arriving bapk at the. wharf with the inward. passengers and their luggage within the hour. The launch left the wharf with outward passengers at 7 p.m. The Melbourne Shipping Co.’s Melbourne, from Newcastle via Wellington, arrived at Napier at 8 a.m. yesterday, and is due to leave for Gisborne tomorrow. She will discharge 600 tons of coal at this port. The Union Company are the local agents. The U.S.S. Flora is due to leave Auckland to-day for Limestone Island, and sails to-morrow for Coast bays, Gisborne. Napier, and Wellington. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall is expected to leave Auckland to-day for Tologa Bay and Gisborne, arriving here on Saturday. The U.S.S. Co.’s Wanaka left Oamaru at 2.15 p.m. yesterday for Timaru, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland, with •a cargo of produce. The Shaw, Savill Co.’s Mamari is still loading frozen meat in the bay.
