THE “MORNING POST” AIRSHIP ORDERED.
AN AUSTRALIAN INVENTOR’S SUCCESS.

As a result of an appeal to the public the “Morning Post” has ordered a Lebaudy- dirigible airship, conditional upon the War Office approving of the type. ft is also prepared to purchase for the nation a Clement-Bayard airship under similar conditions. PERTH, July 22. The Western Australian Aerial Navigation Company has been registered to acquire Thomson and Boyd’s interests in aerial machinery. It is claimed to include a novel steering apparatus, which overcomes many difficulties in the way of successful aerial navigation. Mr. Thomson goes to England to submit a design to the Admiralty and War Office.
