At a meeting of the Proportional Representation Society, Sir Edward Clarke referred to tho perfect success of the proportional representation system in Tasmania, and the Tasmanian Agent-General explained the working of the system there. Lord Milner, Lord Cromer, Lord Hugh Cecil, and Lord MacDonald supported the proposal.
