Mr. A. F. Kennedy is slowly recovering from his recent accident, and was able to be about town for a few hours on Saturday. Tho Rev. A. Colville, of Auckland, arrived in Gisborne b- the s.s. Victoria on Saturday, and preached in Holy Trinity Church yesterday. Dr. Schumacher, who lias been on a visit to Australia, returned to Gisborne by the s.s.
