The following is the Rev. D. 0. Bates’ general weather forecast: High winds from between west and south arc probable everywhere, with cloudy, •cold, and unsettled weather. Southerly winds will shortly prevail, but will probably shift back to the west for more disturbed weather, following with another disturbance across the Tasman Sea.
